Hurdlemaster Grimes Hits US #2 400H!

Over the weekend, Norman Grimes competed with Team USA at the Caribbean Scholastic invitational in Cuba. The Canyon junior got his first experience in the 400H. When making your debut in a new race anything can happen. For Grimes, he exploded to a US #2 50.80!

Grimes has been on fire all season and still leads the nation over the 300H. Now he'll look to come out on top in the 400H. We'll see a highly anticipated matchup between him and the King of 400H over the past few years Rai Benjamin at New Balance Nationals Outdoor.

Nobody broke 50s in 2014, with these two guys finally going head to head, we could see both work into the US Top-10 ALL TIME. It will be fun to watch Grimes through the post season and see if he can chase after the Top Texan to ever run the 400H - RGII (49.56 - US #2 All Time).
